Personal Life
David Ray is a lifelong Hydeparker. He, along with his late wife Joanne Senkier-Ray and their 4 children, attended Hyde Park Schools. Ray was a former altar boy at Regina Coeli Church. He's been a former Boy Scout leader, a coach in Hyde Park Little League, and past Commodore of Rogers Point Boating Association. Ray is currently on the Board of Directors of the Hyde Park Free Library and the Hyde Park Historical Society.
Ray practiced Pharmacy in Hyde Park and the surrounding area for over 50 years. He was a retail owner, HMO employee, and also worked for many national chains. He finally retired from the pharmacy industry in 2017 but he plans to stay involved in Hyde Park affairs in any way he can. Says Ray, "I love this Town, it’s people and history and I hope to enjoy it for many more years."
Town Board Role
David Ray is currently serving his third term as Town Councilman for Ward 2.
Education
David Ray received a BS degree in pharmacy from Fordham University.
