Aileen Rohr is serving her fourth term as Hyde Park Town Supervisor, having been first elected in 2012 as part of Team Hyde Park.
Aileen is a lifelong Hyde Park resident, a graduate of FDR High School and SUNY New Paltz and a proud parent of three adult daughters. Prior to being elected Supervisor, Aileen was partners with her husband in a family real estate investment business, managing small multiple dwelling buildings (none in Hyde Park).
Prior to assuming the reigns as Supervisor, Aileen served as Chairwoman of the Hyde Park Visual Environment Committee and River Access Committee as well as serving on the Hyde Park Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Aileen is President of the Dutchess County Mayors and Supervisors Association, having been elected by her peers in both 2017 and 2018.
Aileen is a strong proponent of redeveloping Hyde Park's commercial centers (Hyde Park Downtown Initiative) to complement the town's many and varied assets. With more than $8,000,000 in grant funding obtained over the last 6 years, Aileen along with her colleagues on the Town Board have been meeting the challenge of creating a vibrant 21st-century community.
