Parades
The Town of Hyde Park Recreation Department sponsors two parades -- a Memorial Day Parade which is followed by a Memorial Day Ceremony at Town Hall and an Independence Day Parade. Channel 22
Channel 22 is the Public Education and Government channel for the area of Hyde Park served by the Cablevision cable company. This channel broadcasts the town board meetings (both live and recorded), the Hyde Park School District Board of Education meetings (recorded) and other programs of interest to the residents of Hyde Park. In addition, a bulletin board of local notices is broadcast between programs. The Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency (Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency) conducts a hazard waste disposal day, generally on the first Saturday of each month. Hazardous waste is defined on the form for registration that is required in order to dispose of hazardous waste.
