The function of the Planning Board is to ascertain that new construction adheres to the laws of the town, state and federal governments. This board reviews subdivisions as well as site plans for development in the town.

Planning Board members are appointed by the Town Board under NY State Municipal law.

The Planning Board meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the town hall at 7 PM. For each issue considered, a "Public Hearing" is conducted. At this time the public is invited to present commentary. The public is invited to attend each meeting.
