Hamlet of Staatsburg
The Hamlet of Staatsburg can trace its origins back to 1693 with land purchased by Captain Henry Pawling from Native Americans. In 1701 Dr. Samuel Staats and Dirck Van Der Burgh purchased most of the land of the current hamlet.
