Wildlife Habitat in Your Backyard

Wednesday, January 13 - 7:00 p.m.
Hyde Park Town Hall

Program will include:

• Results of habitat mapping study conducted in northern Hyde Park/Staatsburg (north of South Cross and Fall Kill Roads). Description of habitat types, typical species that live there, and conservation needs.


• Ideas for caring for the land to preserve its value for wildlife:
  • landscaping with native plants
  • backyard wildlife habitat
  • programs for forest owners
  • conservation easements (can offer tax benefits!)

All are invited! Refreshments will be served.
