Partnering with Local Schools
In June 2010, Students from North Park Elementary School and FDR High School teamed up with the Hyde Park and Clinton CACs to plant 130 trees and shrubs along the Crum Elbow Creek on the schools' grounds. The vegetation will improve water quality and wildlife habitat along the stream and will serve as a living laboratory for the schools. Thanks to NYS DEC's Hudson River Estuary program for sponsoring this project!
